Class Ophiuroidea (brittle-stars) מחלקת נחשוני-ים
זו מחלקה של יצורים איטיים הזוחלים על הקרקע או מטפסים ונכרכים על אלמוגים
ויצורים נייחים אחרים. ההבדל בינם לבין כוכבי-הים מתבטא בעיקר בהיות להם
דיסקת גוף נבדלת מהזרועות המתפתלות כנחשים. קבוצה יחודית
ביניהם היא "ראשי-הגורגונה", שנציגם הוא הנחשונק
This class of echinoderm consists of slow moving or crawling animals, underneath stones,
and among corals. A unique member of this group is the basket-star.
